River Oaks apartments

The apartment was horrible they said they fixing before we moved in the refrigerated had lose wired so or freeze did not freeze, ac unit did not work u have get closes to it to feel anything, heater does not work, dish washer was not mounted in right almost fell out, fake wall decor no lights only in the kitchen, bathroom and hall way,washer and dryer never work,window screen or not put in right, a room in basement is a complete mess it disgusting,when it snow they don't plow so u can't get up the hill we try to go to back side of packing lot and got stuck and or ceiling in bathroom water was coming out of the fan and light.we don't have pressure for the shower none, we had to get or shower unclogged after a couple days of beging there and we need the shower fix a couple times, Everytime w

Glad I opted for the short lease. I moved into River oaks shortly before the new management took over. After they did so our experiences went downhill FAST. Building management allowed pest control entry to my, as well as others, units without prior warning. The ladies at the phones are disrespectful and rarely helpful. During my time here my unit flooded, and was even driven into. The management team didn’t even attempt reach out to make sure us tenants were safe, or in livable conditions. Compensation was never offered. If you’re debating renting at river oaks, RUN!!

I have been here 10 years. The apartment complex was recently sold to another conglomerate. I don’t like the new owners. They are slow on repairs, they have tried to charge me double for rent. They say they are going to make changes and they are very slow. The staff I have dealt with has been not the friendliest. If I could afford to move, I maybe would, but I have 10 years grandfathered in her for rental. I now pay &670 minus utilities. It takes over half of my income. I’m not too sure where I could go for less. I’m 72!years old,retired and don’t drive. Abit if a recluse.
