Customer Reviews
The Waterfront apartment is a very good place to live. It’s clean and well-maintained, and the managers are very friendly and helpful. Everything can be perfect if you stay away from units close to the street. River Drive is a busy street, and the windows don’t reduce enough noise from outside, meaning you’ll need earplugs all day long unless you’re comfortable with noise. My first two years in the building were fantastic, before I decided to move to a unit close to the street, which I regretted just a few days later. However, it has a nice view of the Mississippi River. I rate this place 90%, or 100% if I could get rid of the noise.
I am usually not a person to leave a bad review but… I have not had central air for almost 3 months and I thought perspective tenants would want to know my experience. I moved in on May 26th and the AC would not work- the apartment would not cool down at all. I put in a maintenance request and that Tuesday after the holiday, they came and said they fixed it. It worked for a day and stopped. I talked to the office worker a few days later and they told me that our AC was not working because it was “too cool outside at night.” I knew this was wrong and kept pressing them, stopping in every other day to ask about my air. After about 2 week of my apartment being extremely hot (over 80 degrees during the day), I put in another request and they told me that I need a part that is on back order and
One of the maintenance guys is always working. He has to be one of the more dedicated people I have ever seen work the position. Even the women in the office and the cleaning crew is consistently working and they're very friendly. They're always smiling and welcoming when I walk by. Great place to be. Only small critique I have is they probably need to change the air refresheners in the hallways a little bit more often. But when they do it smells great and they keep this place pretty clean. Love how nice and quiet it is.
I have lived in the waterfront apartments for about 3 years now. I love it here! I love that they have a lot of grassy area outside for the pets to potty / walk around. I also think the volley ball sand area is super cool, they also have games you can play outside in the mailbox office inside. I like that you can’t access the mailbox room without a key, the apartments are also set up to where you can’t get in unless you have key to that room. I love that they have coffee ready to be made (keurig) and it is always pretty clean too. I love the gym they have here as well, always super clean and they have products to clean up with in there. The maintenance is always up to date, elevator is always super clean, honestly the whole complex is clean! And sometimes they have events like food trucks
Edit: 5 years in, they're trying to get me to move out by doing renovations late into the evening in the unit right above my unit. Pros: Great place! The option to have rooms fully furnished saved me a lot of time and money buying furniture. It made my move-in quick and easy. Free cable and a 42" TV is phenomenal too. Right next to the river which provides an amazing view right outside the apartment. Close to where I work so my commute is seamless. Washer and dryer in room are great, nice not to have to go to a communal one. Fridge/freezer is very spacious. Oven is high tech and shows the temperature climbing. Room in general is very welcoming and I love to be able to call it my own ❤ Cons: Wifi is a little slow and can't be used for streaming. Train that passes once or twice a day is a
