Rimrock West Apartments

Josh is great and does what he can for having to split his time between here and Castlerock. The lawn company SUCKS. The North and East sides have not had water all summer and the grass is brown. They also never clear the sidewalks and there is leaf debris and little berries that have been left to rot and get squished for months now, and when they do mow the areas that have grass, they just leave it on the sidewalk. I lived here 25 years ago and now again, I like the apartments and the location but am disgusted with the outside care and the dog crap.

We lived there for two years and we had a small dog. We liked management and the maintenance guy. They fix things very fast. I was really disappointed in the condition we got the apartment—the dryer didn’t work and the washer was extremely loud. The washer broke completely months later and we had to go without for three weeks while we waited for the new one to come in. The blinds were all broken in three rooms. Other than that it was regular wear and tear. Keep in mind that was the old management. I felt like they were very fair when we moved out with our security deposit and they didn’t take out any extraneous charges. The walls are paper thin. It’s pretty bad. The landscape around the coutyard is never maintained and is all dead leaves and dirt. Grass is dead, very dark at night with no lighting. Constantly looking for a parking spot since school started again and lunch trash on the sidewalks. Maintenence guys are very polite and do very good work.

Last night, I submitted a maintenance request at 12:54 a.m. as my roommate and I had been locked INSIDE of our apartment as the door knob was jammed or loose, and the property manager herself called at 1:12 a.m. to check to make sure if my needs were met and if the on-call maintenance person had reached out and when they hadn’t, she let me know that she would arrive in 20 minutes. She arrived promptly to check the door, and after trying it, she called an alternate maintenance guy, Ryan, who drove from LAUREL to save us. He was very kind and very prompt, and arrived within 20 minutes as well, and quickly got the door fixed. Thank you so much to the leasing office team for helping us out in a stressful situation. 10/10 would recommend.

This place has a lot of potential. My family and I are hoping to live here since it is close to my and my daughter's job.
