Reserve Pointe Apartments

Lived here for about 3 years in the same unit. Lovely neighbors, central location to everything in canandaigua, staff were always kind and responsive to me, and very dog friendly environment. I will say ceilings and floors are thin and noise travels but as someone that lived on the middle floor it didn’t bother me much, if you are sensitive to this a top floor unit is best. Overall I really enjoyed my time here, felt move out inspection was fair even without me present.

If you are looking at this apartment complex, this review will be the only one you will need to read. I will give the pros and (many, many cons) that come along with living here. During my time I lived one year in a 2 bed/2bath upper unit, and one year in a 3bed/2bath unit. Pros: We’ll be nice to start and acknowledge that the apartments, both exterior and interior, look very nice. The renovations and color scheme are modern and the bar/countertop in the kitchen was nice. The space and floorpan was spacious and I never felt cramped, even with 2 roommates and pets. Cons: The biggest complaint that I just don’t see on any of the other reviews is how bad the management is. The leasing office stated that because they are over a certain % of units occupied, they are only required to be in the

If you are someone that likes to get a good nights rest, this is not the place for you. I have lived in other apartment complexes before, and never have I been able to hear every single foot step above me. By foot step I mean stomping like an elephant. You hear everything your neighbors are doing, snoring, using the bathroom, talking, etc... A fan will not help muffle the sounds, trust me I tried. They have had plumbing issues here since I moved in. Water would be shut off without any communication and you would just wonder when it would be turned back on. I would go to my gym to shower and use the bathroom. My suggestion is read the other reviews on this complex and look at other options.

I've just moved in so my review may change, but as of right now I really like the apartment! Moving in was very smooth and everything was cleaned and painted. The apartment has new kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. Management has been responsive with all my emails prior to move in and any issues i've run across. As for noise, its an apartment complex so you're bound to hear your upstairs neighbors walking around or your downstairs neighbors having louder conversations, but its nothing to complain about. The community itself is very quiet and lots of cute dogs running around and the location is GREAT to be so close to North Shore. My one big complaint so far is that there is no recycling at the complex, which baffles me since I recycle and I thought it was just common that everyone else

Horrible renovations. Cheapest materials I have ever seen used in a housing situation. Walls are paper thin. No caulk is used at all in the bathroom. Paint is useless, rubbing it with a cloth takes the paint off. Don't try to hang anything. But the worst part is the lack of insulation you can hear everything from above or below you. The only positive thing I have for this place is the new appliances. Don't waste your time if you want to sleep at night because it won't happen here. Also, there is no parking, clearly nobody put that into the blueprints while renovating.
