RE/MAX of Albany

Our daughter bought a house several years ago from Karen Richter, an agent with Remax of Albany GA. We moved here from Panama City Beach in 2018 and decided to start looking at homes with Karen. I can't tell you how many homes she showed us 2 years prior to us purchasing one in the country in 2022. Well, we decided we didn't like living that far from town, so we listed it for sale one year later with Karen. It contracted within 2 weeks, and a seamless successful closing on it. Very professional until they get your money then become very unprofessional. I walked through an apartment 2 weeks before move in date and items addressed at walk through still wasn't completed. I moved in on 8/31/24 friday I was lied too and told appliances would be to me on Saturday which would be the next day, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ON THE WEBSITE.. The website stated appliances would be new, Mcclain verified this on site as well. The stove was new but not the fridge which I didn't receive until that following Wednesday by that time all my food had spoiled. After being there I month I now had my ceiling to fall from a water and a Stopped up bath sink. The manager Burke try and make you feel like you did something wrong for entering work orders. Carrie Hutchinson is amazing! She has helped up us through the purchasing of a commercial building for our business, as well as the recent purchase of our new home. She goes above and beyond, always had our backs and steered us in the right direction. Always made sure we were smart in the offers we put in and taught us a bunch along the way. Highly recommend if you are in the market for purchasing any kind of real estate! She will put in the work and not stop until you have found what your dreams are made of.

Very unprofessional, first the agent wants to list our house 20,000 below market value. Then she takes horrible photos of the house not to mention when the house was first listed details about the house were missing. So after a few weeks we were fed up with how the house was listed we decided to take it off the market. It took them 6 months to pick up the lock box and sign. I do not recommend using them at all.

They just keep on finding perfect homes for us!!!! We have bought 6 homes and sold one using them plus getting ready to buy 3 more! Leigh Windham and Karen Pelham Richter are sooo patient, energetic and have a passion for finding that perfect home. There is no other realtor I'd ever want to use when buying or selling a homeh. They treat you like you're family and make sure you feel like you're their only customer. They love animals too, so that just puts them over the top! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!! As long as we live in Albany, Ga we wouldn't even THINK about using anyone other than RE/MAX of Albany!
