Disaster. Worst renting experience ever. Avoid Fernwood Properties at all costs. Save your money — you’ll find far better places for the same price. Don’t get fooled by the so-called “lake view.” Parking is a mess, laundry facilities are unreliable, elevators barely function, and service requests are a nightmare from start to finish. The leasing management has no idea what they’re doing and clearly lacks basic training or accountability. Communication is poor, issues are ignored, and follow-ups go nowhere. The lease buyout process was another traumatic experience altogether. The lease is filled with unnecessary, strange, and inflexible rules that seem designed to trap tenants rather than support them. I am not the one to leave reviews but I feel like I owe it to prospective people looking at this building. We moved in 2 months ago and I wouldn’t wish this on my biggest enemy! There is a roast infestation like many have already mentioned. Cars are getting broken into and/or stolen every week with no sort of security attention nor prevention. The lobby attendants for the most part nice but there is one young woman who is extremely rude. She threatened us of a $500 fine for moving a box and not using the freight elevator which you need to have an appointment to use on top of the onsite management trying to charge fees for everything. There are homeless everywhere on the property grounds and even a tent adjacent to the entrance; just completely out of control and no sense of orderly operati

This is a real review, raw and unfiltered. I rate living here a SOLID 0/10. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Anybody saying otherwise is either a bot, or just plain not telling the truth. If you wanna over pay rent, come to regents park in Chicago! Roaches, big ones, small ones and even medium ones. You call maintenance to spray your *CLEAN* apartment to prevent your neighbors’ bugs from coming and you’ll be waiting a week or two. That’s after being told you’re on high priority! AC, heat and all ventilation period barely work. Unsafe neighborhood, never not any sirens blaring around here. Always Shootings, car jackings or something similar happening. Very beatiful neighborhood, 5 min walking to lake shore’s amazing lake trail. Good restaurants on a 10 minutes walking distance. Gym is great, the view is amazing.. what needs to get better is the package room because it is very easy to lose packages…

I can’t find my packages. most packages are piled up in a mail room. It took 30+ minutes to find a thing. edit: it got better. They organize the package room now, and they use the Amazon Locker more.
