Redstone Apartments

Lived her for a few years now and really enjoy it. The in unit laundry and extra bathroom is a huge plus for the price. My only issue is that they don’t follow through with their parking rules. If you have a parking pass you should be able to park in your lot, but by the time I get home there are almost no spots left because of random people parking here. They need to be towed if they aren’t paying to live here and don’t have a parking sticker! And it’s their main building lot, but no one works in office anymore so the problem just continues.

Do NOT live in Redstone or Red Oak Properties. I have encountered countless problems with them. They told me when I first moved in to call the police for any noise complaints as there’s “nothing they can do” and when I eventually did, they emailed me telling me not to do that again? They invaded my apartment countless times without allowing me to schedule a time so I could be present while strangers are in my apartment. I almost caught what I’m assuming to be the office manager attempting to snoop through my apartment until she noticed I had a camera pointed directly at her. The maintenance does not come when called, they do not clean the hallways and the main and side doors are almost always broken allowing quite literally anyone to walk into the building. I have lived in Redstone for 3 years and we are moving out next month. I have always had a great relationship with the staff, they have been prompt in responding to emails and the maintenance crew is fantastic. Just recently maintenance had to come to fix frozen AC units, they did this on the coldest day of the year and even after hours. They even take the time to come by and explain what was going on. Amy is extremely helpful and has always responded to all my emails within a business day or quicker. Our apartment was very clean when we moved in and they are fairly quiet. Really there are no problems with management. The only thing I will say and through no fault of management is that tenants do not pick up after their dog. Redstone is a solid apartment complex, plain and simple. Needed a place in a pinch a little over a year and a half ago for a 6 month lease, and it turned out to be such a solid value with price, locations, and amenities, that my roommate and I decided to re-up for another 15 month term. Red Oak is a good management company to rent from - they made both the move in process and lease-end simple and easy. They handle most building maintenance in-house which was a plus in my eyes. Only taking a star off due to some more-than-slightly concerning maintenance issues that popped up throughout the lease term: Last summer the air conditioning compressor blew and we were out of AC for a bit.
