After never being late on a payment for 2 years, cleaning the apartment better than it was when we moved in, we get a bill for over $1334.00 for cleaning and damages. No response from emails disputing the charges and no one will respond by phone messages. To top it off the other 3 renters at the time had much less charges even though most of the charges occurred in the general living area. Management was always hard to get in touch with throughout the 2 year process. After 7 emails and numerous calls no answer from Redpoint.
Pick another apartment, please. If you plan on having a decent college experience, just pick another apartment. I've been woken up numerous times from 1-3am from people honking car horns and screaming right outside my window for hours on end. Everyday there's super loud cars going through and will wake me up at 6am from the noise. People drive through the narrow road at 35mph and the parking spots are tiny. The buildings are so cheapily made and you WILL get absurd charges when you move out. They will charge you, and they won't actually use that money to make repairs, they just charge the next person who moves in. There's no reason to pick redpoint over the other apartments available. It's cheap, but not worth it at all. I have lived here for 2 years and regretted cheaping out on an apart
I wish I could give zero stars. Management is unhelpful and unavailable. You will NEVER get them on the phone. My son lived here for 3 years. We left his apartment spotless. 5 adults (roommates and the parents) spent a Saturday thoroughly cleaning everything. Nothing was untouched. It was as clean as possible. Still got hit with unreasonable “cleaning” fees. Argued and finally got them down to somewhat acceptable —and honestly, I was ready to pay it and be done with Redpoint forever. They also lied to us about offering 6 month leases. Told us they did not offer them, then gave his upstairs roommate a 6 month lease and refused to adjust our agreement. Costing us thousands. Did not care or try to make it right. And this was with PLENTY of advanced notice of the issue. If you are on the fence
I lived in my unit for 3 years and can say over all it was a very poor experience. The managers are hard to get in contact with and always seem to be avoiding us as tenets. The last time I resigned my lease, redpoint sent emails saying that the earlier we signed the best rates will be however one of my roommates signed about 2 months after and got almost a 200$ cheaper price than me and some of my other roommates. When we brought this to management’s attention they pushed us off until I mentioned the type of advertising they were doing (misleading). And they amended my lease so me and my roommates all paid the same price. They also pick and choose certain times to enforce certain rules and charge for community violations. WARNING!!!! Do NOT lease with this complex! I never leave reviews, but if I could leave 0 stars I would. This place has been nothing but ridiculous to deal with. To begin, when my roommates and I first moved in, the place was absolutely disgusting (see pictures below). Redpoint obviously did not clean the apartment before we moved in it. After we moved out, I was charged with nearly $400 in cleaning fees and damages. My roommates and I left our apartment spotless. Every damage and cleaning picture was sent in during inspections and documented. When I tried to dispute my charges, I was told to email a certain email address.
