My family has lived in an apartment managed by REA going on 5 years now and we have never had any issues. Any problems that have come up, Grace or Wanda have handled it extremely quickly and with no issues. I have never lived somewhere where the rental companies acts as kind and professional as the staff at REA. I’d highly recommend them!

They don’t actually fix anything. I lived there 3 years never got a stupid fridge shelf fixed of all things. We ended up with mold that they just painted over so many times the mold decided to spread through the roof to a hallway closet to wish they just spray painted over it then drilled a wood board to cover it up. so please just don’t do it you’ll be sick within the month. They will harass you for money but if you go to them with a problem watch out because Wanda or Grace will call you profanities behind your back to each other as they have done before. They have no respect for their properties, the property owners, or their tenants. There’s an automatic response that looks like an apology and to call them with concerns but 1. MILITARY do not rent here. This was the only available apartment I could find and it was conveniently located on Spence Ave only 5 minutes away from base. The first day in the apartment was fine, I could tell the apartment was old because it was always cold and the doors and floors all creaked but no big deal. The first week in the apartment we started noticing cockroaches, EVERYWHERE. I immediately called and complained and was told what I was seeing were water bugs which are apparently common in North Carolina. No ma’am, these bugs were roaches. There were big black ones, big brown ones, little brown ones, fast ones, slow ones, every kind you could imagine and no matter how much I scrubbed the place from top to bottom they would keep appearing. These people called my work number probably trying to get me to sell my house which I absolutely will not do. Don’t know how in the hell they got my work number.

MILITARY BEWARE! Sterling Point Town Homes, Piedmont Airline Road, Goldsboro, North Carolina this place has had a major problem with burglary. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! IT IS NOT SAFE!!! CHECK THE POLICE RECORDS!!!! UNSAFE!!!! BEWARE!!!!! It's close to base but not worth the possibility of having your belongings stolen!!! BEWARE!!! There is a trailer park directly behind it!!!!
