Rareforms was our general contractor for the construction of our Bright Built designed net-zero high performance modular home. Greg was a great resource for help with making choices that embodied our low embedded carbon, sustainable, and local sourcing goals. His commitment to sustainability, low carbon footprint, and local sourcing can even be found in the parts of our home that we can’t see. His design work on our garage and porches was superb. He and his team demonstrated outstanding carpentry expertise and attention to detail in their work. Greg Bossie was involved through every step of the process of our year long project, from designing plans to managing contractors to on-the-ground carpentry. He smoothly navigated shipping delays and materials shortage, as well as keeping safe Covid precautions with all team members. Greg was dependably on-site to solve any unexpected issues that inevitably came up when dealing with an old home. We worked with Greg Bossie and the staff at Rare Forms in 2022. It was very easy working with Greg and his team. We are exceedingly pleased with the results. Our project was to adapt a portion of our 1884 barn to be an energy efficient, climate controlled space (rather than a drafty old barn).
