⚠️ Review: Prairie Gate Apartments - Read Before Renting ⚠️ Length of Residency: 3 years My experience at Prairie Gate Apartments was marked by a steady decline in management, maintenance, and safety over the three years I lived there. While the apartment started out nice and quiet, the complex became difficult to live in and I would not recommend this community. Management & Communication Issues (The Worst Offender) • High Turnover: Management changed a shocking four times during my three-year residency, leading to chaotic operations and poor consistency. • Impossible to Contact: It was extremely difficult to speak with the Property Manager. Blake is a superb leasing professional. He handled our application to move in process smoothly and efficiently. Despite the snow storm, he called to ensure that I was able to access everything I needed. He sent out gentle reminders of applications needed to function well as a resident. Honestly I would say this was the most pleasant move in I have had since renting. I’m excited about what my experience will be residing at Praire Gate. I’m sure it will be a homey and welcoming one. The apartment complex does Airbnb and VRBO but they do not provide all of the pertinent information for a consumer to make an informed decision. I booked an apartment to stay for two weeks. I asked for early check-in and the host stated that I would have to pay for an extra day because I needed to check-in at 6 am. I was told that he would refund some of the money because of the holiday. Once I arrived, I noticed the apartment was on the 3rd floor. I have disabilities and two dogs which makes it extremely difficult to get up and down 6 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor. To add insult to injury, the only TV in the apartment doesn't work properly because of the remote. The bathroom has bugs in the shower, a big hole in the wall, and big black hairs all over the place. I recently moved into this apartment complex, and it has genuinely been a pretty seamless transition. From the start, the team here has been incredibly helpful and supportive. I did have a few issues with my apartment initially, but everything was either resolved quickly or a solution was found right away. To be honest, I was a little skeptical about moving here at first because of some of the older reviews I read online.
