Portofino Cove Apartments

My experience was terrible. Excessive water bills; I asked several times where the water meter was and they never answered. You pay for valet service for trash pickup and they add a charge from the condominium deposits even if you don't use them. There were leaks in the wall that caused mold; we reported it and they just wiped it with a damp cloth and that was it. Raccoons scatter the trash when it's not collected and nobody cleans up. I went more than two days without water and the response to my complaint was to go to a hotel until they could fix it. And be very careful when you decide not to renew the contract; you'll get bills for over $500 for cleaning, no matter how clean you leave it. In short, my experience was very bad, I don't recommend it.

They don't have good management; they pass on information they haven't agreed on themselves; they don't return your deposit on time; and other things like leaving you without a closet door for 8 months, then replacing it with a different color door because they don't want to bother doing the job properly. They leave you without air conditioning, with the fire alarm going off every night (I removed it and only left it out of place because of the noise), they charged me $200 for an appliance that wasn't in place, totaling $400, fees they don't tell you about when you sign the contract, and then they come after the first month, a mandatory garbage fee, but if they don't collect your garbage for days and you report it, they don't give you a discount, among other things.

Jamie, Business Manager, was absolutely AMAZING!! So was so patient and kind. Very knowledgeable, easy to work with. Attention to detail. From application to move-in day= easy peasy!

I can honestly say that living at Portofino Cove has been such a positive experience since Jamie Urban became our property manager. She brings an energy and kindness that shows through in everything she does. Whether it’s responding quickly to questions, making sure the property is well-maintained, or just being approachable and friendly, she makes residents feel valued. It’s comforting to know that someone like Jamie is looking out for the community—it really feels like home.

Thanks to Jamie Urban the property manager at Portofino Cove and her incredible "dream team" for making a real difference in our community. They have raised the bar and worked really hard to make Portofino Cove a true success story. Residents are the number one priority and are treated with respect and professionalism. Maintenance issues are immediately addressed by their top notch team. Common areas including the pool, gym, club house bbq areas, garbage collection areas, parking lots and green spaces are always attended to. Great place to live because this team really goes above and beyond for their residents. Thank you for making this a much better place to live and enjoy.
