I lived in a Port Property apartment for a year. I never had any trouble getting in touch with the manager of my property, Michael, and he always went above and beyond to help me. He explained the renting process thoroughly to me before I knew how it worked and even took time out of his lunch to show me an apartment because it was the only time that worked with my schedule. Ultimately, the apartment was lovely but a little out of my price range so I had to move out. Thank you, Michael!

Money hungry company that doesn't care at all about the condition of the buildings they're exploiting for profit. In the laundry room they charge you to do your laundry in the place is disgusting and only accepts cash but runs out of quarters to exchange. Left a giant block of ice right in front of the front door to the building for almost a month before finally getting rid of it. My kitchen has a hole in the floor that keeps my fridge tilted and the cheap stick on tile they put down is dingy and peeling up.

I would strongly suggest living under different property management. Their standards for property management were shockingly minimal to many of us tenants. The following is my spouse’s and my experience with Port Property while living at The Linden in Portland. I can tolerate a few living conditions that aren’t up to standard, but Port Property’s building management became unbearable for us and fellow (now former) tenants. In the 2.5 years that my spouse and I lived at The Linden apartments, we felt that the quality of property management had gone steeply downhill. There were many incidents and persistent issues that worsened our living conditions. To many of us, Port Property seemed to be egregiously cutting corners with the property. Despite years of ours’ and fellow tenants’ attempts t

I have rented from various property management groups in different states and some of these companies have been extremely unprofessional and dishonest. However, Port Property Management is definitely not one of them. Out of all of the property rental companies I have been a tenant for, I can honestly say Port Property has been the best in Maine. They are extremely professional and respectful. From the start, they put zero pressure on having me sign a lease agreement. I asked to see several apartments in the same building without complaint. They are upfront, without any hidden fees or misleading information. They were very helpful right up to the end of my lease. I am more than happy to have rented from this company and would be more than happy to rent from them in the future.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Horrible Company to try to work with when ever there is an issue. They have threatened to evict me on hearsay and false claims with no proof whatsoever. Also they are very likely to retaliate in someway if you try to get answers or explanations for some things. For example my ceiling collapsed down to the floor from water damage on the floor above. Not only did they not compensate me for damage to my property as well as interfering with my sleep schedule for work to do the repairs also it caused damage to the floor and baseboards in my apartment that I was later charged for when they took my entire $1,850 security deposit. They ignore service requests for repairs and often times just cancel them all together without any reason or notification. Very dirty halls and the tra
