From day one, the place reeked of mold, not surface-level mildew but deep, unhealthy black mold that no one bothered to remediate. The carpets are disgusting, stained, and shared areas are even worse, littered with animal feces and urine that clearly haven’t been cleaned in ages. Maintenance is practically nonexistent. Requests take weeks, if they’re ever answered, and management’s favorite excuse is “we’re short-staffed.” Meanwhile, they demand money up front before showing or signing any real agreement, which is a huge red flag. I have never had a less responsive management company. Nobody seems willing to help or communicate or be helpful. Washer and dryer were non-functional for 9 months out of our 12 month lease. Make sure you do a walk through with them before you move out or they will use any reason to withhold money from your deposit.

After taking over New Star Properties, they completely mismanaged and deteriorated the apartments instead of improving them( Manchester ) Maintenance requests are routinely ignored or significantly delayed. When tenants attempt to follow up, the office will place their phone line on busy, making it impossible to reach anyone or even leave a voicemail. This effectively cuts off all communication regarding work orders. During snowstorms, they fail to sand or salt the driveway, despite the lease clearly stating this is their responsibility. Snow is left untreated, temperatures drop, and the driveway becomes ice, creating a serious safety hazard for tenants. DO NOT ever rent from this company. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Our entire experience with them was absolutely horrendous. The only consistent communication we had was when we were interested in the apartment. When we first moved in the apartment was disgusting, I had to scrub the place from top to bottom before I even felt comfortable bringing any of my stuff in. Also the laundry room downstairs is unkempt and dirty with trash everywhere. There was stuff left broken and not working from the previous tenants that took weeks and multiple phone calls, messages, and emails to have anyone even respond to me. If you have a maintenance issue be prepared to just deal with it because they will rarely respond to your phone calls and the ‘weekend + emergency line’ doesn’t even work. I understa
