I have been wanting to contact my realtor , Cathy Verne for a longtime. Believe it or not , we settled on our home in Middletown in November of 2006. Yes, 19 years ago and I am not only still in love with my home but the entire area. My husband and I moved from NJ and knew nothing about DE. Cathy was the one who directed us on where we did and did not want to live. I still think of Cathy often and will always be grateful to her. Not ready to sell yet but when we are I KNOW who will be handling my home.

Property management side: They have known about an active roof leak over my bedroom for at least a year now and still have not fixed the roof. “Oh yeah, we’re gonna fix it.” “Oh yeah, we had the roofer come out and it’s good to go!” Still not fixed. They’ve done everything but fix the roof. This has been going on continuously for at least a year now. This morning I removed a bunch of the mildewy moldy waterlogged drywall myself to prevent it from collapsing on me. Every time it rains I can’t sleep well. There’s no point in making another private complaint with them so now we’re here. They just keep saying they’re going to fix it, they have been saying that for a year so what’s point of complaining again? They won’t stop not fixing the roof.

We recently purchased a home in Middletown and Randy with Patterson-Schwartz was our realtor. He truly helped our family during a very stressful period. Randy explained the whole process every step of the way. For example each time he had to negotiate for us he explained what was taking place and what was the next step. He provided us with so many different community resources which made moving less stressful. We can't say enough great things about Randy's dedication and professionalism. He is a great agent and helped us find our dream home.

We had the opportunity to meet with a Real Estate agent from this company, and she was absolutely Horrible 😩🤔!!! Kept taking us to the "Ghetto / dirty neighborhoods." And or Cheap degrading Apt complexes😟!! I am new to the Delaware area and was Appalled at the kind of Service we received from this Company!! 😩😫😢 We had to live in a Hotel for 7 months due to her inconsistent behaviors. The longer we lived in the Hotel, the more Money we spent paying for the Hotel.. The Real Estate agent knew I was desperate to find a place, and presented to us the absolutely worse neighborhoods imaginable!!!!! 🤢🤦🏽‍♀️As a result, I have left the State of DELAWARE and found a Very nice place to live in Frederick MD... 😁

Ryan Dill of Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate (Newark) gave access of my house keys to viewers without him being there. Viewers wondered my home for aprox 30 minutes before Ryan came to the property. After notifying my realtor about this, as well as filing with the BBB, this firm has yet to voice this.
