ParkView Apartments

The log cabin house was the best housing in Rexburg I’ve ever had. Secluded, comfortable, plenty of space. There’s a great fire pit and a big lounge area. Way better than an apartment complex

Management is nice, other than that I haven't liked it here. When I showed up the apartment had a horrible odor and it seemed like this place hadn't had a deep clean in years. Clean checks are conducted but they are very lax so nothing really changed. It got a little better after several deep cleans but could be much better still. The location is great but if it weren't for that this place wouldn't have much going for it. We have had semi consistent maintenance problems which management has been happy to help with but some problems seem structural (like a constantly leaky floor in the kitchen) and need serious work. I love the management here!! They’re amazing and I feel like they actually care for the tenants as well! In my experience, my apartment is very nice, and I appreciate the amenities we have here. It is in a great location - close to campus to not feel too far away, but far enough to get a break from school!

From start to finish, communication with the office was terrible. Most of the time no one would answer the phone, and when I called ahead to arrange an early move-in, nobody was there when I arrived to get my key. When I found someone to take over my lease, I couldn’t meet with anyone in person because I work during their office hours. After calling multiple times over several days, I still couldn’t get a response, and the person interested in taking over my lease eventually decided to go elsewhere. I will give credit to the owner though, after meeting him in person and explaining my situation, he did help me work it out. I stayed in the log cabin. Management were very nice and tried to be helpful. Apparently their hands are tied most of the time because the owners do all the maintenance and changes, and as far as my experience went, the owners did not care about the tenants. My main issue was the AC being broken the entire spring and summer semesters, for which several maintenance requests were submitted. The owners ignored this problem and instead worked on making the place uglier by hacking out trees and bushes around the house. I heard stories of how they took a month to fix 2 out of 3 broken fridges, cramming 12 people into one fridge. There’s a mini kitchen in the basement that has been under construction for a long time. Being 80 degrees inside all the time sucked the fun out of any of the benefits
