Parkview Apartments

Lived there for a year, at first everyone in the office was really nice, until I got my husky that was my emotial support dog. landlord was hateful about the whole situation and would call to tell me that I should take my dog with me, since the dog was causing a disturbance, which my company wouldn't allow the dog on the premises. My renewal was coming up and the landlord wouldn't renew my lease cause of my dog. The landlord assistant that lived right next door she had a pit bull that would charge and rattle the fence everytime me and my son would take trash out. On the lease handbook it stated no pit bulls where allowed. My experience was awful and I felt like I was being bullied by the landlord and the people who worked in the office. I was walking through this apartment complex to relive old memories, because my Grandma lived here for almost two decades while I was growing up, and I was here a lot. I was told by the front office "they don't let random people walk through the complex for resident safety", even though the apartment complex is literally falling apart. They don't seem to be concerned about safety from that aspect. The fences all over are falling apart, there's numerous broken windows on apartment units. The hilarious thing is, even though it's a run down mess, it's fairly cheap and it gives me a lot of nostalgia vibes, so I had contemplated getting a showing of one of the apartments to possibly move here a short while. Not anymore. 😂🤦‍♂️

To be fair these are really nice apartments for the money. It seems like Midwest city has a large group of really nice people right here at this apartment complex… The management is not bad for sure. Charity is a really awesome person and I’m so grateful to have her as a landlord! Her boss is a little bit of a tough cookie, but she’s also keeping this place in order so you can’t complain regarding the attitude you get from these girls lol 8 out of 10 for now and I’ll give you another rating in a year! Also, it seems like they take care of things really well. I can’t wait until they get my pull over by my unit remodeled because then we’ll have two swimming pools and everything will be amazing!

Apartments are runed down and not kept up with. Leasing manager and staff are rude and unprofessional they get into residents personal business and are nosey. The don’t fix anything then they blame you for everything that is wrong. Dont recommend.

I lived here for 5 years. My apartment flooded every time it rained and Parkview did nothing whatsoever. My living room furniture got soaked on a regular basis and the wall that the water crept up under got gross and mushy, and probably full of mold. The apartment managers have a confrontational and defensive attitude towards tenants, and no matter how pleasantly you approach them, dealing with them in any capacity is always a roll of the dice. Corporate is based in CA and is extremely shady in their business dealings. They are a smoke-friendly community and you will smell your neighbors chainsmoking cigarettes and weed STRONGLY at all hours of the day. Car break-ins and backyard theft were a bi-weekly occurrence. And yet, they raised the prices $100+ since I moved out just this last summe
