They moved me into a new apartment to help get me away from a neighbor that was being a nuisance. This was wonderful, until the new apartment ended up having a roach infestation. When I finally got them to send pest control out, they only scheduled them once. Do NOT rent from them. They don't care about you, they only care about the money you give them, and do the bare minimum to keep from getting shafted on inspections.

Rent from LITERALLY anywhere else. Renting from Parker Real Estate Management was genuinely a nightmare. There’s so much I could say, but I’ll focus on the worst parts. Our main problem was sewage coming up from the shower drains when we used the in-unit washer or dishwasher. Like literal sewage, which is a BIOHAZARD (shown in pictures). And each time it happened, maintenance was incredibly slow to respond. The last time it happened right before we moved out, it took TWO WEEKS to get someone to the property to fix the plumbing and clean and sanitize the showers. That’s two weeks of not being able to shower, do laundry, or use the dishwasher. Two weeks of leaving maintenance requests and calling repeatedly. I truly believe our house was not fit for tenants. Unsafe, Unresponsive, and Unfit to Manage Housing Renting from Parker Real Estate has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property I lived in was plagued by serious safety, maintenance, and legal violations—many of which were formally documented not just by me, but also by the City of Bloomington. Here’s just a fraction of what I endured: Fire alarms went off randomly at all hours. Requests (#13160-1 and #13199-1) were marked “completed” without any real fix. Months later, the issue still wasn’t resolved. The gas stove leaked gas when the burner went out. Despite repeated reports and explanations of the danger, it was never properly inspected. Plumbing issues affecting both upstairs and downstairs toilets were reported and then simply canceled in the system—no repairs

Rented a house in Bloomington for 1 year managed by Parker Real Estate. It was the worst experience I’ve had in my 7 years of renting. A couple examples of how poor management is: The fridge broke and was not fixed for OVER 3 WEEKS. Kept calling for a maintenance update and was never given helpful information. Parker Management was unwilling to provide any sort of reimbursement for the several hundred dollars I had to spend eating out during that time, even though it was their fault for not fixing it in a timely manner (luckily I was able to contact the owners of the house who did provide a small reimbursement). The yard was not maintained, bushes and tree limbs were overgrown into the driveway and scratched my car daily. I requested they be trimmed several times with no action.

Rented from them for a year. Moved in with a broken window and lost my security deposit because of a broken window (they never fixed it, even tho I put it many maintenance requests and they told me it would be fixed before I moved in) I also didn’t have water for a month due to pee and poop coming out of my sink drain, shower drain, and squirting out of my toilet bowl. I had to get a hotel, and when I asked for reimbursement, they laughed at me. This was by far the worst out of the 5 property managements I rented from while living in Bloomington. Steer clear of these con artists. They will take your money and leave you stranded
