Parkcrest Apartments at Oakland Park

Great place to rent if you need a place to lay low while on parole.Last renovated in 1971. Richard Nixon was president then and the Vietnam war wasn’t over yet! Park Crest is roach infested, poorly maintained, unsecured and unsafe place to live. They hike your utility bills which is illegal. Woman in the office is useless to help with problems.

Would rate 0 stars if i could. All they care about is getting your money. The office lady doesn’t do anything but give you excuses to why things are not being fixed. She’s rude & lazy. Keep in mind everything needs fixing. The bathroom has mold, the window doesn’t fully close. The shower knobs do not work. you have to fight with it to even turn off. The carpet is old & they do not change it. Just everything is horrible. Yet they charge so much. So where is the money truly going too? They do “inspection ” & try to charge you extra if you do not let them in. Their great “ inspection “ takes roughly about 2 minutes. where they barely spray anything. The place is infested with roaches. It’s so gross. Save your money & look somewhere else. They ask for 3 months rent in advance. Don’t do it. Th

I moved into Park Crest in 2020 and stayed 3 years. I don't know what other people are complaining about, I did not have the issues that I'm seeing on the reviews and my garden apartment was special to me. We worked with management as tenants to make sure everything was maintained, we helped by changing the filters, avoided flushing items down the toilet that would cause plumbing problems, ( childrens small toys, non flushable wipes, female SANITARY *NAPKINS, [ you know who you are ] defrosted the freezer periodically , maintained the back garden by cutting the grass when it was a garden and not bricked) , instead of complaining and acting helpless, we helped ourselves. #51... “‼️ALERT ‼️ ALERT ‼️ ALERT ‼️”Been living in this complex for 1 year and I can say it’s truly the most worst ghetto apartment complex with the worst management and maintenance team or should I say no maintenance. I’ve been living in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and a nice private back yard, unfortunately for us we have been very upset at the fact that our # 1 refrigerator doesn’t work properly screams bloody murder once every week with a big puddle on the floor and freezing everything inside of it meaning if I switch the temperature from the bottom part, the freezer part will start melting then if I switch it back to the freezing part the fridge part freezes every food so I can’t barely put any food in there. Plus there’s hardly no storage compartment where every storage part is broken. # 2 Both

I absolutely had a fantastic experience when I moved into a really nice, clean apartment in April. The new management is superior in every way imagined compared to the former management. They are doing a phenomenal job by applying new paint jobs and improving the landscaping of the grounds! All Good!
