Palmilla Apartments

Trying to pay the rent is a lesson in frustration. They make it impossible to contact a person. I can only assume they do this to accumulate late fees. I would like to compare their late fee to tenant ratio with the national average. I’ve been there for eight months and still have no WiFi which was said to be free for all tenants. There is no office on site and no contact person, just an answering service that rarely gets a response. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 67 years. If only I could get out of their contract but there is no one to talk to. This place is apathetic. Run don’t even think about it. Scammers of the highest order

Even though the floorplan I wanted wasn't available for lease I have to say that the customer service was great. The manager Yesenia was very professional, polite, knowledgeable. She had the answers to my questions on the spot which stood out from other locations I had visited. Was honestly expecting a different experience after reading the reviews before visiting. Saw others working and the cleaning the property during my tour and the apartments I saw looked to be in good shape.

As of 08/26/2024 I have been a resident for almost 2 years. We have been having trouble in apartment #225 with the electrical outlet that does not allow half of the apartment have electricity and air conditioning. Then we have roaches in the apartment and we have to spent out of pocket cost to avoid these roaches to keep spreading. This is concerning me and my child’s food and safety. We have done more than 5 reports and nobody as came to take care of the issue. I am no longer safe bc my concerns keep increasing with Electricity/Air conditioning and our food. This is ridiculous. And they still expect rent to be due on these living conditions they have these apartments.

Attempting to lease an apt here has been an absolute waste of my time. I booked and confirmed an apt tour for Nov 26th and received two text messages reminding me of the appointment. I arrived 5 mins early and the leasing office is closed, locked, and lights out. A notice on the door said to text a number to get a hold of someone. I did and got no response. If this is any indication of the reliability and record keeping of the leasing office staff then I'll consider this missed appointment a blessing in disguise.

This small property is very comfortable very quiet and safe.
