Palisades at Carter's Mill

Lived here for a few years and it’s been nothing less than amazing. Truly grateful for the wonderful staff and hospitality of the complex. Would recommend for anyone who wants a friendly, welcoming community. Great location between Shaw AFB and Sumter.

*Update to original review* I have been living here for 7 years so far and I have no complaints. No issues, no real gripes other than minor annoyances. This is my first apartment experience and I know it won't be like owning my own house. Yes, there are noisy people, but that's people. If I can't control it, I won't worry. The office and maintenance staff are chill. I always see the maintenance staff working on something around the property and the office staff are kind and well mannered. Any issues I have had were quickly rectified. Never had any break-ins, no issues with other neighbors, pool is clean (but I still haven't been in it yet) I'll be moving out soon due to a work relocation, but I think I'll stick with another Southwood Realty property. I toured the property two weeks ago. had a great experience touring. Daria was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome right away. Overall, one of the best apartment tours I’ve had—definitely worth checking out!
