We had a pretty good experience at Paddington. We loved the size of our apartment, especially for the price you pay. It’s hard to beat in Rexburg. Our only gripe was that we wished the apartments and grounds were better maintained. All of the appliances in our apartment were functional but it felt like everything was on its last leg and a little off at times. There was dog poop all over the place outside, especially the last few months of us living there. The outside of the apartments are also pretty grimy. Our apartment was pretty dirty when we moved in so it took quite a bit of work to get it how we wanted. They did knock some of our first months rent off to compensate for that which was nice. Management was always helpful and responsive. All of our maintenance requests were addressed

These apartments feel almost like a little home. I love the large glass sliding doors that let natural light in and if you live on the bottom floor they make moving large pieces of furniture in easy! I large vertical blinds that are used on the sliding glass door are flimsy and break often. The upper floors get a fenced balcony, but the ground floor has no fence. Only bikes and strollers are supposed to be stored under the stairs which is kinda annoying- however, Your little balcony/patio area is all yours to decorate (so long as you don’t damage property)and store items that are not bikes/strollers. I’m glad we didn’t live on an upper floor bc the stairs get REALLY slick in the winter. Carpets should be replaced… but who knows when that will happen. The current axiom property manager is

Axiom and Paddington is by far the worst management company and apartment I've ever heard of. They were mostly fine while we lived there, but upon deciding to move out, we were hit with multiple hundreds and hundreds of dollars of fees. The couple taking our apartment also had to pay thousands of dollars before they can even move in, and the fees they have had to pay are also ridiculous on top of it. It feels as though Axiom is just financially bending us over and taking whatever they want. They hit us with fee after fee after fee that I guarantee are unnecessary, especially with how clean and spotless our apartment was when we moved out.

This apartment was great, up in until we had to move. The move out process was horrible and cost us so much more money than we were told up front. Not only did we have to pay an early vacate fee of $300, which we were informed on and knew about, for not staying until our lease was up, we had our deposit of almost $1,000 taken as well! We were not informed on the deposit being taken at any point. We were specifically told that, with us leaving early, we needed to find someone to replace our spot, which is totally understandable, and we were also told multiple times that we needed clean and leave the apartment as nice as possible, which again we knew and understood. And that as long as we did those things, we'd get our full deposit back. Which absolutely makes sense. But this was not the cas

We had a decent experience living at Paddington for three years and even referred several friends and family to live here. However, things changed dramatically when it came time to move out. Since we couldn’t cancel our lease, we found someone to take it over — something the office approved. A month after moving out, we were unexpectedly notified that we owed over $500. After contacting the office and requesting an itemized breakdown, the amount “magically” dropped to just over $300 — but even then, the charges were vague and mostly related to routine maintenance like replacing burnt-out lightbulbs. There were no major damages, and we left the apartment in great condition. Unfortunately, we didn’t take photos before leaving — something we now regret, because it feels like we were taken ad
