What a lovely cooperative with kind neighbors, family-friendly, and responsive office/maintenance! We’ve loved our time living here.

If you’re looking for a community that values hard work and integrity, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Orchard Glen Co-op might appear appealing on the surface, but underneath, it’s a place where backstabbing is incentivized, and the lazy thrive while the diligent are left in the shadows.

This is the most wonderful place in Bloomington to live. And all the Office Staff and Maintenance People, you just can't get any better. I feel safe, and respected and well cared for.

Good maint dept. old appliances. Excellent condition. Great layout. 1 bedroom is very small. Very little cabinet and counter space. Excellent grounds. Poor snow removal. Proficient office staff

The price is unbeatable in town. But it comes with a compromise. Office hours are 8-5pm, if you were summoned to the office, you leave your work to do it unless of course you don't have a job. Office staff are apathetic and inflexible: they are there because they have to. In the recent year, the contractors they hired are inefficient, rude, inconsiderate of security over the properties, and unprofessional. Quarterly pest control does not stop ants, spiders, rat deposits, roly poly, and other pests from finding their way indoors. We "rent" but we mow the lawn by ourselves or pay $50. After 5 years of faithfully paying dues, there's absolutely no consideration for forgiveness if I'm late or if they return my check, they squeeze another dollar out.
