Customer Reviews
I’ve lived here for about two years, and my experience is mixed. It really depends on what you’re looking for. The neighborhood itself is quiet and generally peaceful, which is the biggest plus. Maintenance is consistent in the sense that they do respond, and the amenities are decent on paper. That said, the location is inconvenient, you have to drive everywhere, and the rent is high for what you get. Rent has increased by roughly $100 every year, which adds up quickly and makes it hard to justify staying long-term. Parking has been a major issue. My vehicle was towed without proper notice, and management later claimed warnings had been given when they hadn’t. In November, an email was sent reminding residents to display parking tags, but over a month later, without a follow-up reminder
The apartment complex towed my roommate's vehicle from the front of the building between Friday night and Saturday morning. No warning, and we've lived here for almost year and a half. She had to pay Ewing Towing $250.00 and was extremely late going to work. Why would you tow your own resident's vehicles if you have all of our vehicle information? Same car for a year and a half nothing changed. In addition, another person had their vehicle towed at Ewing from Oak Tree who stayed the night with their family during the holiday weekend. What kind of dysfunctional almost evil scam are you running here? As absolute disgusted as I am, I can't imaging renewing our lease unless you refund her in full. You have no idea how much emotional stress this little event has put on her. We pay out
The complex is convenient and mostly quiet. Close to Septa if you travel often to Philadelphia and a block away from Maryland. Minutes away from UD and neighboring entertainment. It's great for families with small children. The staff is responsive and helpful yet at times can be very rude unnecessarily. Maintenance fixes what they can but is timely. Safety is questionable as the community is aware of vehicular breakins and very poor lighting in certain areas. Not the fault of the complex, but there's often Marijuana smoking in the hallways or outside the buildings. All in all, it's not a horrible place to live.
I’ve been living here for almost three years, and I couldn’t be happier. Yes, the rent goes up, but that’s just how the world and the economy are right now. What I can say for sure is that the team here is wonderful. Every time we’ve had an issue (a leaking faucet, a freezer that wasn’t working properly), they’ve come quickly and fixed it perfectly. The community is clean and quiet, and Samantha, the manager, has always helped us with great patience (even when my English didn’t come out quite right, since it’s my second language). She’s always smiling and very kind. The apartments are quite new and are handed over spotless. You really get the feeling that you’re “the first one” to live there. I definitely recommend this complex—it’s truly a wonderful place to live.
I moved in one week and half, from the application which I started online, they contacted to see if I needed any assistance with it. They even stay one the phone and walked me through the process. I was notified less than 48 hrs later with an approval voice mail. I made an appointment to see the place and at the office was greeted by Ms. King. She very diligently showed me not one but two units. She is on point, no time wasting. The documentation process was very simple. Once my deposit was paid (Online) I received a digital copy of lease, once’s signed the final instructions which was Delmarva account and move in money cashier’s check. The day of my move in everything was waiting for at the office a nice gift bag and my key, they explained to me the laundry, parking, and community rules.
