Oak Ridge Suites Apartments

When I first came to this apartment complex in 2021 to the present. I was really amazed with how well kept it was inside and out. I was really appreciative of them having a boot tray at the door for my Boots for when I come home from work. I also like when something is wrong in my Apt and i call Ms.Theresa she always make sure that it gets fixed as quickly as she possibly can. She is a very sweet lady. She respects my privacy! I would recommend these apartments to anyone who is decent and like nice things, and that has Job! resp respects

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I know this a long review, but please read through it all the way to save yourself from what a mess renting from here would be. Pay attention to the fact that including this one, there are only two reviews in the last 3-4 years and they are both exceedingly bad 1 star reviews. I met with the landlady Theresa in August when I was looking for a new place to live. She was very nice at first when showing me the apartment and when a unit opened, she contacted me and I was able to put down a deposit to hold the apartment. She told me that this deposit would be a $250 non-refundable cleaning and maintenance fee. A few weeks later when I was ready to move into the new place, I scheduled a time to meet with her to do a walkthrough of the unit before signing the lease. Immed

ROACHES!!! The landlady knows about them, but she would still rent the apartment. Avoid this old apartment at all costs. I know there are many currently out-of-town or international researchers looking for a short-term housing for internship, visiting, etc. at ORNL. Do not make the same mistake of renting this apartment without looking. First night I moved in, I had to buy sprays and traps since there were SO MANY ROACHES! The next morning, I saw multiple of them caught in a sticky trap, including little ones meaning that they have been hatched from eggs. I had to remove all my belongings before the roaches get to them and leave the apartment. I stayed here for a short stay in summer of 2012. Landlady gives the complex a personal touch from most corporate owned apartment complexes. Furnished if needed and furniture was nice, no bug problems at all, only downside that I can recall was no washer/dryer unit and the local laundry mat was a bit overpriced, but not an issue for a short stay.

Stayed for six months in 2011/2012. Very quiet place, well furnished apartment at a reasonable price. The only downside was no on-site laundry. Theresa was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.
