North Village II

A factual review after living here for two years: -When I reported smoke, management replied by email that tenants must provide proof. -$75 was added during a lease rewrite without prior notice. -Mosquitoes in summer evenings (see photos). -Skunks, odor can enter through the ventilation when they get into the basement. -Smoke from the first floor can come up to the second floor. -Loud train noise early in the morning. -Constant vibration and noise from the first floor bathroom exhaust fan (this was the most difficult issue. I had to run white noise most of the time). I renewed for one more year due to limited options at the time, but others may want to think twice.

The walls are paper thin i could hear my next door neighbors in the bathroom. Electric bill averaged 200 in the summer and winter. Winter time i would turn off my thermostat and put on a 500 watt heater and an electric blanket. Floods really badly. Would have been good if you had quiet neighbors but i had two next door neighbors who loved slamming their doors as hard as they could that it would be so loud. It caused a huge crack in my ceiling causing my floors to be unstable. Also warning second floor, im guessing my building specifically heavily flooded during sandy but it had really weird structural issues. i felt the footsteps of the people in the unit behind me and whenever they walked, it would cause my floors to creak and because my floors were rotted I think it made it more sever

If you move in here, your car is damaged by flooding. And if you take a shower in winter, you have to finish it in 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, you have to take a shower with cold water. And when you leave here, you have to make everything new. Otherwise you have to give them a lot of money. This place advertises that there is no deposit, but you have to pay $900 for registration.

별 하나도 아까운곳. 수퍼는 없고 보증금 없으니 대충 살라는 아파트.변기 수도 물 힛팅 모두 최악.어떻게 아파트를 운영하는지 살면 살수록 최악이였다. 겨울에는 아파트가 춥고 여름엔 덥고 벌레들 많고 비오면 물차고 최악의 아파트. 돈 벌기 쉬운 악덕 주인.
