NextGen Property Management

I am speaking as a current board member of my association, which is now working with a new management company. I used to be a quiet, hands-off owner in my condominium, like most others. That changed after a water leak in my unit. At the time, this company was managing our HOA, and I turned to them for help. Instead of providing support, they began harassing me when I asked questions about how the issue would be resolved. The former board president (Don Delory — see his overly flattering review below) even sent me a lawyer’s letter in an attempt to silence me for asking too many questions about NextGen operations. I'm only placing five stars hoping that more people will read the review. This property management group is probably the worst I've experienced in the last four Management groups that we have had experience with. I can't even elaborate on most of the stuff that went wrong with this company from the lack of communication between interdepartments to the incompetence of the financial Management, not paying vendors for months showing in The ledger all was well forgetting to pay the primary building insurance to the point where we became canceled, literally bringing us on the verge of bankruptcy. Do not hire this group! Again, what I'm describing is literally the tip of the iceberg with this guy ken.

Stay away....far, far away. This "management" company is trash. They don't return phone calls, never mind solve problems. We have a trash issue that is not going away and nothing is being done about it. There's a shady board that wasn't elected making decisions that appears to be a conflict of interest and instead of solving that problem, they threw a lawyer at us and "assigned" board members. They increased our condo fee nearly 20%, but no improvements. Not one. I asked if they could help with a heating issue in my home, which previous management teams has no problem doing - they said no, gave me a number and their excuse was that the last management group did a bad job. About a year or so ago Nextgen was hire by our out of compliance board of three and there is supposed to be five to help run Whitehall Lake. Ken Foley doesn't see the need to answer emails about financial, a loan we have out, and the out of compliance board that he allowed to run all of last year. We held our annual meeting back in April. There was four people who stepped up and instead of allowing all four to sit he had the only board member consult legal and in the end they appointed three from the ballot and a person who wasn't running. Two declined the appointments. There has yet to be a formal announcement of who our three member board are. A current board member told us that we were close to a receivership yet Ken failed to inform the community in two different meeting one in 2024 t

The worst management company you will come across. Imagine sending endless emails and getting no replies. Imagine calling multiple times and only getting a voicemail. Imagine paying a management company and they respond by ignoring you in your time of need. Rude, unprofessional and irresponsible. They will leave you hanging and no amount of pleading will change a damn thing. That’s right, I had to plead and beg to have someone return my urgent emails. Then they had the gall to deny my document unless I payed a $40 fee to expedite it even though I had tried to pay for it well in advance but couldn’t because THEIR systems were down and for over a week they would not get back to me to instruct me about other ways to pay so I would receive the document on time and avoid THEIR fees.
