New Legacy Apartments

A few years ago, I would have recommended this place when Jackie was still around but after living here for about 3 years, it’s time to go. This place is listed as smoke free, and multiple other sites state the same, yet the hallways are filled with the strong smell of smoke and weed. I have called numerous times about the smell of smoke in our apartment (no air circulation) when our neighbors, including the maintenance guy, proceed to smoke right outside their balconies, instead of the designated smoking areas. As a result, I have not been able to open the sliding door in almost a year and my asthma has gotten worse, and nothing has been done about this issue. I’ve had a positive experience living here. The property is well maintained, and management is professional and responsive. Overall, it’s a comfortable and well-managed community.

I lived at New Legacy Apartments in Baldwinsville, NY for one year, and my overall experience was disappointing. From the start, the move-in process was unnecessarily difficult. I encountered significant delays and confusion regarding payments, and after resolving the situation, I was still overcharged. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never received a refund for the excess amount. Additionally, I was required to change units shortly before moving in due to what appeared to be a personal issue with a staff member in the leasing office, which made the situation even more stressful. Amazing experience with these guys for a few years now already . Even in the most difficult moments Emily and the office staff were always available to help out with anything you need . Plus it’s a great place to stay .

Was a resident at New Legacy until the end of January this year. The corporate office gives next to no power to the local agents. We dealt with an entire year of trashy, disgusting neighbors that fought, littered, used racist language, had multiple visits by police, and then as a cherry on top brought roaches into the building. Complaint after complaint was made and NOTHING was done. A couple months after these guys moved out, half of our building burned to the ground leaving 22 families displaced, 12 of whom lost EVERYTHING. Throughout this nightmare, we were lied to by corporate, until all communication from them ceased. Our items were looted after they didn't secure the building, and they terminated leases and didn't help any of us secure new homes. We were told "you can reapply
