Nationwide Property & Appraisal Services (NPAS)

I am a mortgage professional for 20+ years and have encountered issues with 4 of my companys last 6 appraisal reports with Nationwide P&AS. Please know that you will receive no help or support with any problems that may occur during the process. Supervisors will not return your calls and voicemails so their customer service is non existent. Save yourself the frustration and time consuming delays, can not stress to you enough to use another company or service if you value your business. Just read all the reviews here and RUN!! RUN!!! I went to get a home equity loan through my bank so they had this company come out. They are a horrible. They messed up my appraisal stupid bad. They put I have a 3 car garage but I have a 3 car garage and a 2 car garage with a car port but didn't bother to put it in the appraisal. They even took pictures of it. I have a 7 room house with 2 full bathrooms they put 5 rooms and 1 bathroom and compared it to house with 1 full bathroom. I had a new roof put on with over 25k and it didn't increase my house by much according to them. Also I have a 75% finished basement and they claim 60%. If you look at Zillow it says my house is worth almost 20k more then what they appraised it at and they don't know I had the roof done. Rockie is awesome! There are many appraisal companies out there, so why use this one? COMMUNICATION. I am a private lender and time is the biggest killer of deals. Rockie doesn't miss a beat and keeps things moving along the entire time. I really enjoy working with her and if communication and timeliness is important, you are in the right place.

I had a very disappointing experience with this appraisal company. While the AMC was responsive, the appraiser assigned to our order, Alexander Marcopul, was both incompetent and unethical. First, he falsely claimed to have contacted the point of contact when, in reality, he did not schedule the appointment for several days. Then, after finally scheduling, he failed to show up at the agreed-upon time and arrived a full day later—without informing anyone. To make matters worse, he brought four children to the appraisal and disarmed the house alarm without consent. The appraisal report itself was equally problematic.
