Mungo Homes - Savannah/Beaufort

I would be wary of buying from Mungo. They definitely cut corners... and go with the cheapest options. We wouldve paid more to have higher quality options but they refused. Now we have a house with too small of an a/c system for our house(so it wont get any lower then 77 during the summer). Their warranty will refuse to cover a/c issues if it can get it to 78 degrees. So if you like your house any cooler then that Id definitely be cautious. Also, I noticed another reviewer with the exact same problem but we also have water intrusion in our backdoor. At the yearly inspection we mentioned that this needed to be fixed and they said they did... well no they didnt. Weve been living in this house for close to 3 yrs now and the problem is worsening. 1st home! A little frustrated these days with mungo. Moved in Dec. 2021 and have been in my new home for about 5 months. First bad storm we’ve experienced back in February 2022. We had a leak into our home through the back door. Baseboards were ruined on both sides. This issue has yet to be resolved. Maintenance have not been consistent with returning calls or hurrying to fix the issue. The panel on our kids bath tub is coming off and the tile in our kitchen is beginning to come up. So devastating being my 1st home and having to deal with all of this and no one seems to be in a hurry to help solve the issue. I honestly don’t know where else to turn to at this point. I’ve called mungo. Left VMs. Texted management. At my wits end! 🤷🏾‍♀️ Wouldn’t recommend mungo at this time.

Our house was built by Mungo Homes. We've been in it for a year now. We've found issues all throughout, and they have pretty much fixed them. Some things are no longer covered under the warranty or were never covered, so it's up to us to fix them. Nothing major with the house at the moment, but there is some soil erosion from all the rain and two hurricanes we've had in the area. We have a pond behind us in our subdivision, and our property, as well as all the houses here, goes into the pond. That is where the erosion is happening.

This is my first house. I didn’t design it but bought it after it was finished building. To say I have had the worst experience from the moment I signed the papers to today is an understatement. I regret spending money and purchasing a Mungo home and recommend not purchasing one. The latest? They built this driveway originally and this is the proud work they did. Tried asking for it to be fixed? Denied because it’s not “beneath the roof”. Disgusted.

We tried to buy a home at Buckhead East in Richmond Hill, GA. When I asked for prices the sales representative over there told me $10k and $18k for the lots available (besides the actual base price of the house, plus any upgrades), which is a crazy number, but anyways we decided we wanted to buy a house. About two days later (because the Mungo’s realtor was off two days after I talked to him) I asked my realtor to contact him so we could start the buying process. I told my realtor to ask for one of the lots for $18k, so when the Mungo’s realtor sent her the total cost sheet with the upgrades we wanted, it was showing $20k For the lot not $18k as I was told. We got upset and disappointed because after just two days the Mungo’s guy was off, he just returned to say that the lot is gonna cost
