You can put lipstick on a pig but it is what it is….Now I know why they have poor reviews. Retired Firefighter… Drove over an hour to this property only to be met by two rude rental managers who didn’t act as if they really cared about being courteous or helpful. No typical pleasantries…Hello, how are you..welcome to Muirwood…no smiles….nothing. No help at all. Both were curt and dismissive in their responses to questions. One seemed overwhelmed by her work and came off as snappish and gruff. Couldn’t tell me if or when a unit would be available. The only thing they told me to do was fill out the application and we’ll get back to you. No description of the property. No model or even a brochure to look at. They came across as wardens in a penitentiary.

I love living here. It's so peaceful and the staff is very friendly. If you ever need anything fixed they get it done quickly.

would NOT recommend living here. Called and talked to them about moving in and we asked about the neighbors smoking and she told us there is a lady who has lived their since 1997 and she smokes and they do there “best” to remind this lady she shouldn’t smoke inside and the neighbor behind the lady who smokes has complained and so have other people in the building because apparently there are things that cause the smoke to get inside the other apartments and it’s smells but they told us out right they will NOT evict the lady who smokes until she is ready to go but they have told us that if we were to break something in the lease we would get kicked out even though tons of people have complained about the smoke smell, not to mention they were severally rude to us on the phone when we were ju

Just so everyone is fully aware, this place has NO public restrooms. I only mention this because it seems to be a huge deal. I walked in with my fiancé looking for a new place to live, we were admiring the lovely leasing office so we didn’t notice the “no public restrooms” sign. Being in my first trimester of pregnancy, I saw a bathroom and decided to take advantage of it, after which I was rudely informed THREE separate times that there was no public restroom. No big deal. But the woman at the front desk had ZERO interest in being even the slightest bit helpful. Didn’t offer to mention any floor plans, rates, or absolutely anything whatsoever. Just dismissed us and acted like we were riffraff off the street. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I am grateful that we got to see the nonexist

Caution. Always see and check the unit in person before you rent. I had rented an apartment for my daughter and we had not seen the unit in person. When we went to move in, it smelled of severe cigar or cigarette smoke. While the management tried to do things to rid it of the smoke smell (the office folks were nice to work with us in this), nothing worked. The smoke seemed to be coming from another unit through the air ducts. We were stuck with the unit because of situation. Finally when she moved out, we had to junk almost all new furniture like couch, bed etc. And, we got a ridiculous check out inspection sheet at move out and a cleaning charge deducted from the deposit! Not fair
