Disappointing. Bad customer service. The first pre-approval I received was fantastic; very quick and from a super personable Jeff McKinney. He WAS fantastic. After I told Jeff that I am being laid off, but I will have a continuation in employment elsewhere, we had to halt with the mortgage process. I had absolutely no problem with this, and up until this point, I would have given the Movement Mortgage a 5-star review. Note that this is my first home purchase and on only my own salary, so I was not approved for a major mortgage. I believe this is exactly why I received poor customer service once I started with my new employer; because the loan isn't worth their time.
