Moore and Co., Realtors -Clarksville

We were looking at a property in Mount Judea. We put an offer on the house and came to a verbal agreement with the owner through our realtor. Our offer was accepted. We waited all weekend for the paperwork to be emailed because the listing realtor (a realtor in Moore and co.) said the verbage in the contact had to be very specific. Well to my, and my realtor's, great surprise, we found out Monday morning (after requesting the contract several times over the weekend) that they had sold to someone else without giving us a chance to beat their offer. My realtor said he had never seen this. And even though it may not be illegal this seems highly unethical.
