Moon Grove Apartments

I moved in about a year and a half ago, when I moved in the unit had not been flipped or cleaned and the appliances had rust all over them. Maintence on not only the units is a “patch job” I.e. I’ve had 4 water damage instances where the unit above leaked into mine and instead of replacing the drywall they just patched it. This has me extremely concerned about mold. Clearly this is a common occurrence because there were existing water damage stains on the ceiling. There is trash all around the property. Peeling paint is visible on the interior and exterior, windows don’t open even though I’ve tried to get them fixed. Caulk is peeling, floors have gunk stuck in them, my shower faucet is falling off and sink faucet is on its last leg. I love the location and convenience, but the lack of car

Me and my partner lived here for two years. When we moved in, it was not clean as advertised. We also had roaches (we are extremely clean people) and they would not treat them for us, we had to do it ourselves. They try to reinforce people picking up their pet poop but aren’t efficient so there’s poop multiple places. One of the handymen (Will, I believe) is also quite odd. He has come to my apartment uncalled before and instead of just leaving when I asked, made me wait while he checked his phone to see that, no, I did not request him. Whilst walking my dog one day, I witnessed him doing it to another woman! So be careful of him. Their other maintenance man, James. He’s AMAZING and absolutely made me wish I had seen him when we moved so I could give him a hug and personal than

Stole $350 from me. They have a 3-day cancellation policy of the $350 holding fee. I canceled with them on the first day. They waited until 2 weeks later to cancel my application. I had so much going on at that time that I unfortunately did not make sure they canceled my application in the time that I actually canceled. They refused to refund my $350, when I called on the first day. I had a reasonable expectation that they would uphold their due diligence. They advertise the Moon Grove apartments when the apartments (The Pearl) are nowhere near as renovated.

I had a wonderful experience interacting with Shanay and Zaire at Moon Grove Apartments . From the very beginning, they were incredibly hospitable and made me feel welcome. They were also very clear about the next steps in the leasing process and provided detailed information about the apartment availability. Our phone conversation was pleasant and informative, and I truly appreciate their professionalism. I’m really looking forward to visiting the complex in person and continuing the process. This place is absolutely horrible. They have BUGS like everywhere in the apartments including the tub. They said its because we live near the woods. There were roaches in my apartment. Lol. They also tell you what you want to hear to get you moved in. They showed me a completely different apartment and then when I moved in, I had no lights or anything in my living room or bedroom. They have roaches. On top of that, they have a cleaning lady and she never actually cleans. There are always bugs in the main lobby of every building. The one year there were stink bugs and wasp coming through everything. Did I mention roaches? THE HEAT. Why was my bill so much when the complex controls it? My one bill was aorund 300 for such a tiny 1 bedroom apartment. Half the time the heat didnt work, they
