Constantly trash everywhere the entire duration of my time living here which was 3 years. Community trash service is a joke and will do anything in their power not to take your trash. Constant inspections of your unit that they say is only twice a year which is several times depending upon how nosey the complex decides to be. I’ve had them come in looking through my cabinets for a sprinkler inspection (there are no sprinklers in the cabinets) don’t leave personal information laying around I left my social on the counter while on vacation and two days after one of their bi annual inspection someone tried to steal my identity. Lastly the current management in the office is rude and won’t help you with anything unless it’s on their terms. They will also end your lease at the beginning of the
Dog poop and garbage everywhere. If you are a responsible pet owner, don't like stepping in dog poop or like to open your windows when the weather permits without the overwhelming smell seeping in, I'd look elsewhere. Property management changes for pet rent but doesn't enforce any policies or hire a groundskeeper or pet waste company to clean up. It sucks that many of the pet owners are ignorant and lazy but that's part of what you must deal with in the industry and it's still the management's responsibility to keep the property clean and sanitary. I guess it's hard to know what's going on when you have a standing sign on the leasing office saying it's closed and no staff on site. Probably the worst managed property I have had the experience of living in. - Responsible Pet Owner Ps. The
I want to thank Monique Mackey for taking the time to clearly answer all my questions about the application process and the criteria. Monique was patient, informative, and made everything so easy to understand. I truly appreciate how welcoming and how comfortable she made me feel during the tour and throughout the entire process, it felt like home from the start!
Living at Monarch Blacklick Creek since the very beginning has been an unforgettable journey. I was there when only two buildings were open, and I’ve watched the community grow through multiple name changes and management teams. Through it all, the people have always been the heart of the place—friendly, welcoming, and truly making it feel like home. While my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of things that could have been better. The pool seemed to always be closed, which was disappointing, especially during the summer months. The valet trash service also had its downsides—too often, trash would be left out all weekend, attracting animals, and ripped bags would just be left in front of doors. It took away from the overall cleanliness and comfort of the comm
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Pool has been open maybe 5 days this season. Got a email 3 weeks ago that it should be open end of the week. Never heard anything ever again regarding it. Still closed. Communication is horrible. People choose apartments based on amenities, and keep this in mind when finding a place to live. Was hoping this new management would turn the place around. Boy was I wrong! Also the walking path behind the garage's hasn't been trimmed in at least 2 years. You literally have to duck to walk down the path. Again how hard is it to trim back the bushes, when there's already not even lights anywhere in this complex where there should be at night. People like to walk with their kids on these path's and not be smacked in the face with tree branches. Also kids run aroune th
