This is by far the worst place to live or call home. Management is completely unprofessional and unresponsive. While the neighbors are kind, the apartments are infested with roaches. The leasing office staff are some of the rudest, most careless people I’ve ever dealt with — especially Siera, who should be fired immediately for her nasty attitude and lack of empathy. The only decent people at Jefferson Chaseway are the maintenance and painting crew — they do their jobs and treat residents with respect. Everyone else seems interested in one thing: your money. They couldn’t care less about the conditions you’re living in or your well-being. We only rented here because we had nowhere else to stay while our 4,000 sq ft home is being built. Let’s start with the good, leasing staff always responded fast and seemed to care about their residents early on. Over the course of the last year things have taken a turn. I have dealt with someone being shot and killed right outside of my apartment complex. You can drive by now a year later and see the bullet holes. I’ve dealt with no heat for a few days last winter , which was never fixed but was told to use emergency heat option which cause AEP bill to go up to almost $400 a month for a2 bedroom. It’s pet friendly so residents leave pet feces on sidewalks and walking areas. We pay for garbage pickup who never truly takes all the trash. Come by anytime to dump your trash like everyone else who just piles up trash or whatever they want all around the garbage grounds. You want to swim and

I've really enjoyed my experience here at Jefferson Chase. My apartment is spacious and beautiful and I love that we have a view of the pond from our balcony. The dog park is a HUGE convenience because we have two active pups and we take them there every single day. There were a couple unfinished things in the apartment that I didn't have addressed, mainly because they weren't that huge of a deal to me (ex. side panel on vanity isn't attached so there's just a space on the side but it doesn't really bother me). The only issue I run into is the kids in the neighborhood who can be pretty obnoxious but that's definitely a parenting issue rather than the community's issue. Don’t rent here!! I made it 5 days before moving out. There are cockroaches everywhere! Woke up to 2 roaches crawling on me in bed my first night sleeping in the apartment. The roaches are all out during the daytime, indicating it is a serious infestation. There was roach feces everywhere when I moved in. In all the cabinets, in closets as well as on surfaces. Don’t bother asking management to accommodate. It took 3 times to contact management about the infestation before getting a reply and I did not receive a reply until a week later after telling them that there were baby roaches all over the unit, including my bedroom and finding roaches in my bed at night. Save yourself money and safety and do not move here. They claim to have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to smoking. Everyone there smokes and leaves their cigarettes everywhere. You can smell cigarettes and weed coming from nearly every apartment. I had multiple packages stolen, one from the actual rental office! Yes, someone at the rental office STOLE my package. My car was broken into twice in the short time I lived there. Multiple items stolen off of my patio. They do nothing. The interior and exterior look terrible. They actually painted OVER defects on the walls. It Is NO WHERE near being worth what they are renting the units for. Oh, and I hope you don't ever have to cross "Chrissy." I can't believe she is still an employee there when she has had so many complaints about her b
