Modera Newton

My family and I absolutely love living at Modera. Being located in the Charles River is a huge plus as we love being in nature. Everything in the building is aesthetically beautiful and kept immaculately clean. Staff is very helpful and approachable and the building is managed extremely well. Maintenance is extremely responsive and helpful I have the best and friendly neighbors.

I honestly can say I appreciate making Modera my new home. The environment is serene, tranquil, and peaceful. The management team is excellent and efficient. The amenities are outstanding. The location is advantageous, as it's conveniently close to the Watertown mall with numerous stores, and grocery options like Whole Foods and Stop & Shop are nearby. Additionally, I value the proximity to various schools. My son attends a school that is under five minutes away and school system is one of the best .

I was seriously considering touring Modera Newton because I’m relocating to Boston to begin a doctorate program in June. I have a close friend who currently lives here, so I visited their apartment before booking a tour and after that experience, I will absolutely be looking elsewhere. During my visit, there were clearly mice in the walls. The scratching and running noises were loud, constant, and honestly unsettling enough to keep someone up all night. It was not a one-off sound; it was ongoing and very obvious. That alone was enough to make me reconsider. On top of that, I attempted to call to schedule a tour and was unable to get through, which didn’t inspire much confidence in management or responsiveness. I’ve had a really great experience living at Modera Newton so far. The front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful, which honestly makes such a difference day-to-day. Maintenance is also quick and reliable—anytime I’ve had a request, it’s been taken care of right away. The amenities are a huge plus too—everything is really clean and well-kept, and it feels like the building is thoughtfully managed overall. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live!

Modera is wonderful! I have had a great experience here so far. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The property is clean, well kept, family-friendly, offers great amenities and the community events are a bonus.
