We are SO glad we trusted Mitch!!! His knowledge is second to none and he is the most thorough inspector out there. He documented literally everything for us - from the smallest dings around the house to the most expensive repairs - which enabled us to make the most informed decision on our house. It is clear he puts your interest first and takes the time to make sure you understand every observation in his very detailed report with an in-depth, in-person walk through. We are very upset we every trusted Mitch. Part of the blame also goes toward our realtor who swore by Mitch. Mitch couldn't get to meet with us to go over his findings until late on a Friday. He said he would get his report to us by Saturday. We found out at the same time from our realtor our deadline was Sunday night (not a week from Friday like we had been led to believe). Despite what he promised, Mitch didn't get us our written report until Sunday, giving us less than 12 hours to review his findings and decide whether to pursue the house. Unfortunately, we did. After moving in we quickly found many things wrong that an inspector should have noticed. We have been here 6 months and had to have electricians out twice. Both times they said the issue was something an inspector shou

They inspected my house and failed to find the big hole under my window. I tried to claim but their insurance said it is my fault not to find it. Can you believe this?

Mitch has been so wonderful. He was able to help us through (several) home inspections. He laid out all of the information in a way we could understand it. This aided us in being able to make the important decision of our tolerance level for repairs needed in a new home. He was so wonderful that we hired him again for our second (final) house inspection. He has continued to be a wonderful and trusted resource. He assisted with some information when our roof was leaking (a year later). Overall, Mitch is just a wonderful human. He is kind and makes sure that you understand that home ownership comes with things you will (eventually) have to fix. I would recommended him to anyone.

Mitch was incredibly thorough, detailed in his explanations, and patient with our lack of knowledge. To us, it felt he left no stone unturned and he presented us with the information regarding our future home in a matter of fact way - open and honest. We really appreciated how professional and easy he was to work with... especially since this is our first home! I would recommend Mitch to anyone! The sellers were equally as pleased and stated they wish they could send him to Chicago, where they are purchasing a home!
