Millington Flats

I've lived in the Millington Flats Apts on Raleigh-Millington Rd since they opened in October 2022. After 3 weeks of living in my "newly built apartment" sewage (feces and urine) starting flooding my guest bathroom. For 2 months Elmington Property Management ignored my phone calls and emails, which resulted to me calling code enforcement and retaining an attorney. Afterwards I was relocated to another unit that I was FORCED to REAPPLY for. CURRENTLY my A/C has been out since JULY 1, 2025! 17 DAYS AGO, Again my phone calls and emails are being ignored! I've only received a barely working window unit. I’ve been renting with Elmington Property Management for over seven years, and I’ve lived at two other properties they manage. Until now, I’ve never had a single issue with Elmington or any of their property managers. That’s why it’s so disappointing to say that this specific property and more specifically, this particular property manager has completely changed how I view the company. The current property manager is not understanding, constantly overtalks residents, and doesn’t truly listen when you’re trying to voice concerns. I’ve personally been spoken to in a condescending way, interrupted mid-sentence, and made to feel disrespected even though I work in the same field and understand how property management should be handled. I had a great experience talking with the leasing manager the other day. The leasing office was very clean and the community immediately felt like home. Hopefully, here soon my baby and I can be living in one of these beautiful homes.

I work in the industry and have the past 6 years, I've never seen someone as kind and patient as Ms. Keitha. Her communication was great and she was very empathetic to not only me but the other applicants that had been waiting for our move in dates. She worked very late hours to make sure everything got taken care of for everyone. The fact that she's running one property and doing the lease up for another property with the same positive attitude every time I've seen or spoken with her really amazed me, because good customer service is very rare to find these days. I absolutely love my new apartment home. We only had one hiccup, which was totally not her fault but it wasn't something i couldn't deal with. Overall my experience with Ms. Keitha has been great!
