Midwest Manor Apartments

I gave 3 stars because the ladies in office where so sweet and helpful when taking my mom in to apply for residency. She has yet to hear back due to the holiday weekend but after reading some of you alls reviews I'm scared to continue 😩 I did see maybe 1 of all issues listed on reviews but was informed that, that matter was in process of being resolved. I heard it was NEW management so maybe this could be the big turnaround and change the complex needs. Give these ppl a chance guys🙏🏽

If you live here your Risking your life people fall thru steps and or roof shingle might hit your children or your vehicle and they will say its at your own risk to live here/ tree might bust your skull .beware. Very 😨 scary,Dangerous

I came down to visit my best friend that has lived there for over 2 years, and the apartments was beautiful. The parking lost was gorgeous, they had flowers in the courtyard, the managers and staff were very nice. The maintenance was helpful and was there when we needed them. Inside her apartment was gorgeous. She has a one bedroom and it is so spacious!! The kitchen was magnificent, and the bathroom was also very good looking. They had upgraded her apartment with brand new appliances and the walls were done nicely. The other people around are very nice. They also have a great laundry mat available 24 hours/ 7 days a week. Which is also very cheap. The manager Tenico is a wonderful woman, and she is always there when you need her.

i haven't moved in yet, im doing that this upcoming weekend, but i have to say that my application process was pretty awesome, i did look at a 1 bedroom upstairs, while walking back to the office i asked about a downstairs apt, im 66years old and stairs dont always work for me, im presently leaving the senior apts in housing authority, which i absolutley hate, so im looking and hoping for this to be a positive change, the staff was great about getting the downstairs apt, and the whole process, i had a lady in the office from corprate, she was great and approved me on the spot, im moving in next weekend, it looks great and very cozy,

Property has really gone downhill, they can't keep a manager, maintenance is rude, they don't do the upkeep unless they have an inspection coming. Lived here for three months didn't have a working stove, my refrigerator went out took two weeks to get me one, and my Outlets still don't work, not to mention that I didn't get a key for my mailbox performance which is against the federal law. It's supposed to be handicapped accessible but it's not.
