I had a very disappointing experience with Midland Management of Sumter during the rental application process. I paid a $50 application fee in cash and submitted all requested documentation. The company’s written guidelines state that approval decisions are based on multiple factors, including credit history, debt-to-income ratio, rental history, and other criteria. However, after my application was denied, I was later told in writing that only credit information was considered and that other listed factors were not reviewed. The denial notice provided only general language (“credit history”) without clearly identifying the specific factors used in the decision. These people are horrible. They do a hard pull on your credit report. You can have good credit and still won’t be approved when you walk into the front office the first lady you see is overly rude. They act as if you’re in their way or something., Very disgusting Please do not waste your time

Do not ever rent from this leasing company. They are inhumane heartless, and have multiple units that are infested with bedbugs, roaches. But require you to have almost a 700 credit score for you to even be in one of their properties. It makes no sense at all. Don’t ever run from this company.

I do not rent from these people and thank god. I went into the office ans was told for 3 adults they have to each havw their own income by themselves. They are indinvigily reports. So a old person can not rent from them if they do not make enough. They only go by each person ans not as a whole house hold. Horrible people and thank god I couldn't rent from you all

I love all the bad reviews because people get denied. Thank you midland management for actually vetting these people. As a homeowner these are the people i wouldn’t want living in my home. Also ask for Wendy if you’re interested she’s amazing.
