Mews Apartments

Where to start? My daughter and I lived there for 3 years, from the summer of 2019-2022. During this time we both became extremely ill. Long story short we lived in a mold infested apartment (in the new section # 296). We left when the mold test company came and assessed the apartment and said we needed to get out for health reasons. I have all the test results of the apartment, mine & my daughter’s bodies and toxicology reports, etc. They got away with it!!! The manager knew. We are still trying to recover. We lost EVERYTHING and had to start over from scratch! What’s scary is that I told them and they moved someone right in after us without changing the old carpet, which should have been changed before we even moved in. This complex has been around for Years with basic amenities and old pool that they don’t upkeep and shut down constantly with no warning. The Lady who works the front desk thinks these apartments are luxury condos… because not only is she rude but every little thing she’s putting some type of letter under your door or informing you of fees. The drawers fall apart The plumbing is absolutely ridiculous toilet toilets never flush. It’s like pulling teeth to get somebody to come out and actually fix the problem and when they do, it’s a Band-Aid after finally moving out because this place is a joke, The property was left And clean Prestine shape even better than when we moved in and they are now trying to charge $700 for what they say a cleaning fee and broken blinds… all which is not true, jus

The apartments are beautiful here. They removed the old carpet if we end up moving rooms. They remodled the whole place before we moved in. It's perfect for just starting out and if you enjoy the silence. It's peaceful. The people who work here are very friendly. Maintenance comes out the same day you ask.

I lived in this apartment in the older section from April 2023 until April 2024. We had a two bedroom, 1st floor apartment. I’ll start with the good, because it’s a shorter list. quiet neighborhood, no issues at all with other residents. front office staff is nice and maintenance is very responsive. Now with the bad. Our apartment was supposedly a renovated apartment. which basically meant, new appliances, a slap of cheap paint on the walls and new carpet. I saw the apartment for the first time the day I moved in, which is on me - the stench inside the apartment was horrible and never went away. It smelled like stale old cigarettes. one of our bathtubs leaked from day 1 and maintenance could never fix it. Our door locks(not electronic) quit working randomly every few months, The kitchen ca

I lived at The Mews since Oct 2019. I have a Great experience here with the exception of the previous Property Manager. The new Property Manager is Great!! The maintenance Dept is also very good and responsive. Had a couple of issues during move in that were addressed quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend this community if your looking for a quiet, safe and family oriented community. Thanks, for being a wonderful place to live.. Edwin.
