1. Triple Digit Rent Increases 2. Excrement in Stairwells 3. Elevators constantly breaking 4. No Package Room (even though they keep advertising it) 5. Smokers throughout Building (even though it's a "smoke free community" 6. Residents don't pick up after their dogs 7. Three different entrances ARE NOT labeled, so good luck if you have anyone visiting. You'll have to draw them a floorpan. I've been renting here coming up on two years now. They will increase your rent by at least a couple hundred dollars every year. They will also do this while taking away amenities. The package room has been inspirational for a year now. Even before the "renovation" that was JUST SO NECESSARY, the package room was much too small for the number of residents and would get backed up beyond reason. Then the

I strongly advise against this place. The management is terrible, the neighbors are incredibly noisy, and the management staff is indifferent, only saying "go ahead and call the police if you want."

DO NOT RENT HERE. I rented for 4 years at this place. It is not worth the money. My rent increased from ~2000 to ~2600 in this amount of time (without any increase from pets or garage costs). I’m sure the costs will continue to go up. Dogs bark all hours through the night, and complaints to management will not change this, even with recorded evidence. The train is literally in your backyard and can be heard every time it pulls into and out of Forest Hills station. Maintenance is usually quick to fix your problems, unless they decide you’re creating a problem (there was a leak in my wall that led to water damage, they didn’t believe me until I was moving out). If you want to live in an unsecured, smelly and over priced box this is the place for you. Several homeless people have managed to break into building B to sleep and slump, the fire alarms go off like crazy and the way every single amenity and service has a corresponding charge is sheer greed. My rent went up after resigning despite the quality of my living situation only degrading. They know housing is scarce and are trying to charge gentrified prices for a neighborhood that hasn't been gentrified yet. Unsafe, unsanitary and the only thing worth saying anything nice about is maintenence. Blue collar workers once again infinitely more useful than any one in management.
