I have lived in a condo who has used their services for the last 4 years. If I had a say, they do such a horrible job, they would have to pay me to do my yard. These are photos of the destruction they do to yards. Week after week I watched our lawn throughout the community just get destroyed. They don't know what they are doing. All that aside, they are untrustworthy. Every time they come to blow out the leaves from our property, they come on to my patio. And every time I find something of value missing. I can't prove the items were there, which is why I haven't called the police about this, but I can say one of the items missing was valued at over $100. Do not use them unless you want missing items and a destroyed yard.

They are either incompetent or cunning criminals. Payment for my company has been approved and sitting on the desk for 2 weeks now. They simply refuse to mail it even though they have already been paid by Lowe's for the WORK THAT I DID! They are probably going bankrupt and can't afford me to cash it. It's no wonder they lost their contract with hundreds of Lowe's stores this year. I'll be reaching out to the rest of their clients to inform them of how they treat their contractors and how it is reflecting back on the stores.

COMPLETE LIARS. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM OR FOR THEM. No one in management will answer or return calls and emails. They are sitting on payment for items OVER 180 days old even though their service reps will tell you that everything has been approved and awaiting payment which PER THEIR CONTRACT TERMS IS 45 days. They have lost HUGE clients due to their poor management services (ie; Lowe's). So I STRONGLY suggest against anyone performing work for them or hiring them to represent them for services. You will either not be paid for your hard work or will be sadly disappointed with their poor management and over promises. I am currently in the process of a lawsuit, BBB filing, and a report with attorney general.

What a terrible company. From their own mouth, they believe the pricing of snow services should fall. It seems they are actively working to make that happen. On a 7 acre site, they wanted to pay 1/3 of what we had been getting paid for a complete salt. I would only encourage working for Merit if you do not understand the value you provide and the liability you are assuming. Here is a hint - its not worth it.

The past is the past.... For sure mistakes were made under prior leadership with jaded agendas in pursuit of the "managed services" aggregator gold-rush, or lack there of. Lots of bumps and bruises... all deserved... In 2019, Merit is well positioned with blue-chip experienced leadership including a new CEO and CFO, as well as new branch operations leaders all committed to customer service and client satisfaction, employee growth, service partner success and above all... Doing the right thing! It's a great time to partner with the Merit.
