My husband and I rented a home through Mento for a year and we loved our experience! Phyllis and Alexia are truly wonderful to work with. They were always available to answer questions and any maintenance requests were taken care of swiftly! They are very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I can't recommend Mento Real Estate enough!

Loved the house. But, mento real estate is determined to steal your deposit. As a homeowner all my life I was an excellent tenant. Never called for maintenance. Put in proper selving after poorly installed fell down. Replaced rotted mailbox with steel post. In the end left house as clean as move in and improved in lots of ways. They have in their lease no nails and that you have to do monthly maintenance on the heatpump. They deduct for professional Cleaning no matter how well you clean. They stole the majority of my 2 month deposit. They are not nice and not fair.

Phyllis is very professional and experienced. She has been our eyes and ears through this last hurricane and continues to represent us as if our home was her own. If you need a competent, respectful, and knowledgeable property manager and realtor, Mento real estate is there!

This company is awful. If I could give 0 star rating I definitely would. My daughter and son in law rented from this company and has had nothing but issues with this company. From lack of communication to down right rude and leaving them in the dark about things that needed to be fixed to other issues. Phillis even stated she fired everyone that worked for her. Maybe she should had but it's not like she is doing any better reaching out to people too. Not the way you should run a company. We will be reaching out to the better business bureau for sure. So dont waste your time find another company.

It’s difficult to find professional management for single family residential properties, but Lexi and Phyllis truly work together as a team to knock it out of the park. If you are a tenant or a landlord in the Havelock, NC area definitely make Mento Real Estate your one stop shop.
