We lived here for 5 years. It is a safe place. It has nice meadow in the middle of a complex. It is kids and pets friendly. It is located close to Ann Arbor and other attractions. The management always organize raffle tickets for various holidays. The apartments are going through the renovation process recently, installing news windows and patio doors. The landscape designers are here often, cutting the grass, and putting in new soil for trees. The parking lot is getting repaired at least once per year in different places. Some of the apartments might have mold, but no roaches or bedbugs. The complex has a pool open in summer. There are several grills setup over the community. It is very convenient to have in unit laundry, which is not very common for apartment complexes. We didn't have an

One bedroom apartment was cute but problematic. Hoping current management is more responsive and proactive. There were extensive and repeated mold issues due to inadequate insulation and poor quality window frames and improperly vented dryer. My unit was supposed to have been updated shortly after my move in, but still hadn't been done when I moved out years later. Management was incredulous that I left with my apartment in such poor condition, but the cabinets, carpeting, deteriorated wood flooring, and windows were beyond the age for replacement. (I left in a hurry in 2023 due to mold sickness while on immunosupressive treatment.) And...there's the previous matter of my neighbor having died in her unit, but then management failing to act for approximately two weeks, despite my repeated e

Moldy- the crawl space underneath floods and gets the apartment moldy. A lot of my stuff was ruined. Communication with staff is so so and the community doesn’t always feel safe. There’s a group of shady characters constantly hanging out outside smoking and doing other kinds of drugs. The only pluses are private entrance and having washer and dryer in unit.

Maintenance clearly doesn’t car or know what they are doing, and getting ahold of someone when you have an issue is nigh on impossible. I had a broken washing machine left in my front room (full of water) and subsequently left for about 2 months in my front yard. Don’t live here if you value your comfort and standard of living. At least there’s no bedbugs? Yet? *update!* No bedbugs but the apartment seeped mold in from the walls, and in addition to feeling physically sick from it the whole time my mental health suffered from the fairly regular harassment from management. I’m not sure why a deck chair and bike caused such a problem, when I saw many other tenants with “personal items” in “public spaces” and my apartment wasn’t even visible from the road. At the end of the day only live her

I have lived at the Meadows for 8 years. The office staff is the best. They are professional and helpful; however, don't trust the maintenance crew who come into your apartment to do repairs. Some are honest and some are not. My personal experience is that some will take your possessions and others may not. My recommendation is to get a camera to ensure your possessions don't walk out the door in the hands of some of the Meadows' dishonest workers. No one in the world likes being stolen from. I did not appreciate them stealing my tools. My tool container went from weighing 50 lbs to 18 lbs after a maintenance worker took out what he or she wanted. This is my truthful experience during my last year living in the Meadows Townhomes. Don't trust them, the maintenance workers who smile in your
