Marineau & Associates-Appraisers

Recently had an appraisal done for refi purpose. Jason Boaz came out to do appraisal. Great guy but apparently works here and California and has absolutely no idea of our market. I had several independent CMA'S done from local respected realtors and all came back much higher. Even after info was given to them for reconsideration they chose to not take any of the info into consideration. Unfortunate. Late update. My property sold just a couple months after this for $54k more than Jason's appraised value. Good luck Marineau & Associates.

Very disappointed on the two appraisals we have had with this company . Both were by the same guy ( Jason Boaz ) and were way under appraised. One 100k too low , the other too low by nearly 400k . We had no choice - we didn't pick this company , or this particular guy . The lenders , coincidentally did ! We will NEVER use this company again !!! We will know to ask lender what company they are going thru . Beware !!! Nothing honest , or near being accurate . Our deal was so far in process , it would have stopped everything to do a challenge appraisal . We will never use this company again . And we will let any potential buyers know that . Our agent called this company to speak with someone with authority ,and didn’t get past the receptionist, who was extremely rude .

Agree with the other review. Appraisal came though exactly the same as the one two years ago. The home has been upgraded and a review of the area shows an average increase of over 10% since. How does that even make sense.

Randomly received an email from this office "manager" about an appraisal I never requested. Mainly because I live in Indiana....not oregon. How in the world did they get my contact information...amateurs.

Appraisal came in over $100k under tax assessed value. Obviously some disconnect when it comes to today's values and current market conditions.
