Norm at Marine Documentation Service was great to work with on a deal complicated by out-of-province delivery requirements (BC to AB). I botched my money transfer (never do those on too little sleep). Norm was really good about it, sorted it all out, everyone got their funds (including my overpayment). Norm knows both sides of the border in terms of tax and licensing/registration requirements and I found the business trustworthy, responsive, and professional.

We're buying a boat from friends that have a very full plate right now. They wanted to pay Norm to complete all the documentations. I called him to ask what we needed to do and what he'll be doing for our friends. His answers were curt. I explained I was trying to understand and was watching out for them like a daughter does her parents. When I asked his fee he said "I won't work with you" then hung up! WHAT?? I really believe he was trying to take advantage of our friends and was defensive when I asked any questions.
