Marcy Village

I’ve lived here for three years and have absolutely loved it. The location is great — close to downtown but quiet and peaceful. Most of the residents seem to be young professionals. The amenities are great — pool, business center, pickleball court, dog park, etc. — and they’re all quality. I love the character of the buildings. The maintenance team is amazing — they keep the property nice and always respond quickly. I haven’t had many issues, but when I have, they’ve been on it right away. The parcel room system is also super convenient. Overall, 10/10 great place to live. -Ashley

In short: if you own a Hyundai or Kia, either get a new vehicle or DO NOT live in Marcy Village. During the 15 months my husband and I lived at Marcy Village, we had FOUR separate property crimes committed against us and our vehicles. We ultimately had to break our lease early because we no longer felt that our property was even remotely protected here. While crime can happen anywhere, it has become very clear to us that there is a long-standing pattern of vandalism and car theft at Marcy Village that is not being adequately addressed by management or law enforcement, despite it being a gated community. I’ve lived in multiple apartment complexes in the Indianapolis area over the past few years, and Marcy Village is BY FAR the best. Most of the apartments have been renovated and are very cozy. All of the appliances work well and maintenance is very quick to manage work orders. They take great care of the recreational and outdoor areas (including the gym and pool 😎). The staff are friendly and keep the free coffee machine stocked- though sometimes this is not kept up- this would be my only complaint. Highly recommend living in this people and animal friendly gated neighborhood!

I’ve lived here 3 years with no intention to move anytime soon. They have super kind office staff, the fastest and most efficient maintenance crew I’ve ever experienced when renting, it has a bunch of cool amenities like a salt water pool and pickleball court, they host community parties on occasion with free food drinks and live music, and it’s just overall an inclusive environment where I feel safe. It’s quiet and cozy and most importantly it’s budget friendly.

I have lived at Marcy Village for the past 2 years and have absolutely LOVED my time here!!! The property management is incredible, shoutout to Brii and Karli! They really go above and beyond for all of the people who live here and the maintenance crew is the best! I could not imagine living anywhere else because of how beautiful the property is and how charming all of the apartments are. Anytime we have guests they are in awe of how amazing, clean, peaceful, and nice the property is! It feels like you are living in a true village in the middle of the city!
