Nice place with great grounds. Well maintained older complex. Friendly community. Pretty quiet too!

Our experience here has been very comfortable and convenient. We feel our family is getting a pretty good deal for what we're paying. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because I'm pretty hesitant to declare anything "perfect," and my wife would really like to have in-unit washing and drying (though hauling the laundry is also some of the only exercise I get, so it's probably better for me in the long run). The rent is some of the most affordable in the area - especially considering that it includes utilities - at the cost of the buildings themselves being a bit old. Mold and rather hard water may require some periodic scrubbing, but we've had no problems at all with neighbors or pests, rarely had trouble finding good parking, and the management and maintenance staff has been extrem

I recently moved in at the end of July, it is really quiet and relaxing. My neighbors are friendly but very quiet. My apartment is very spacious and for the price it's great! I work in downtown Seattle and the commute is well worth it but only 10 minutes longer than where I previously lived which was in Bellevue. I have not had the pleasure of meeting with the office management as I rented directly from the owner of my condo. But imagine we will meet soon as you must register your vehicle and pets with the office upon moving in. Which is an additional great measure they take in keeping up with this property and ensuring all tenants have the best experience. Very affordable living in a quiet location in King County! Management and Maintenance personnel do an amazing job at improving the property and actively work towards developing a great community feel. There are many great reasons why there are hardly ever any openings here!

I picked this place out from 2200 miles away. Google maps gave me part of the story but Michelle (mgr), Jenny (asst mgr) and Chris (maint) and our neighbors are why this works for us. The office crew are down-to-Earth, people oriented folks who are perfect for what they do. Michelle has been resident manager for 15 years and knows every possible way to be helpful to her tenant neighbors. But really, the whole complex is like that. Maplewood is an established quiet community with a warm, open feel to it. We highly recommend it for renters who seek a calm, relaxed environment with a pleasant human quality. Being next to Dash Point State Park is icing on the cake.
